One of the more interesting zombie novels I've come across.
The Rising: Author's Preferred Edition
My current read that keeps me coming back even with a busy schedule.
The Way of Shadows (Night Angel, #1) by Brent Weeks
The entire series is a fun, rollercoaster ride of whimsical urban supernatural!
Order of Kim Harrison's Hollows Series - Books
A dry read but very educational. If you like history in general - give this a read.
The Histories: Herodotus, Marincola ...
I liked everything but the ending as it felt like a quick & dirty wrap up for an epic journey. Many people feel differently. Maybe you will too?
American Gods: A Novel: Gaiman, Neil - Books
A great series that doesn't rush the character development like the show. Skip watching and read this instead!
The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan
It's in the fiction section but should not be. Essentially the journal of Lawrence of Arabia during the Turk & Ottoman war. Fascinating!
Seven Pillars of Wisdom: A Triumph - T.E. Lawrence
The craziest book I've ever read in my life. The movie tries to do it justice and almost succeeds but you should definitely read this to get the full picture. Wild!
Ender's Game (The Ender Quintet) - Card
IMO this is the last decent book in the series before it devolves down into pure smut & poly relationship drama. 1-9 are golden. Skip the rest for your own wallet & sanity.
Obsidian Butterfly (Anita Blake, Book 9)
If you like the games, read the books! They give a deeper insight into Geralt and the world of The Witchers.
Blood of Elves (The Witcher, #1) by Andrzej Sapkowski

Books for Young Adults
A book that forever changed me as a young teen.
What Happened to Lani Garver - Carol Plum-Ucci
Another book from my youth that forever changed the way I saw other people. Note: It is a bit depressing and some parts are hard to stomach.
Violet & Claire - Block, Francesca Lia: Books
A super interesting book that I bought on a whim when I was 12. It's not bad and I hope it becomes a tv series one day.
Silver Eyes: Luiken, Nicole
This one goes with Silver Eyes!
Violet Eyes: Luiken, Nicole
I read this entire series growing up as I have the same condition (RL version is not awesome or bad@ss at all!) and I always wanted a tv series out of it.
