Where to Stay in St. Lucia
There are so many great resorts, but there are some smaller accommodations that are fantastic. These are our favorites!
We had an absolute blast with the activities, other guests, and all the things to do on property. We stayed in one of the premium beachfront rooms, which had a small balcony with a daybed facing the ocean. The room was huge, steps from the beach, and had everything we could need.
StolenTime St Lucia: Hotel Rendezvous
This is easily the coolest place we have ever stayed. Perched up on the ridge with stunning views of the Pitons and Sugar Bay below. It's small, but each suite has a private plunge pool and is open air, so you'll go to sleep and wake up with those views. The onsite restaurant has delicious food, too!
Ladera Resort - Adults Only
This is a beautiful apartment on the very northern point of the island, would be great for an extended stay.
South Sea House, Cap Estate

There are so many places to eat serving fresh caught fish, and some unique combinations I haven't found anywhere else.
The views from this restaurant were top notch, especially for sunset. If you're a Ladera guest, you'll get access to the best tables!
Dasheene Restaurant
This is a newer restaurant, and we haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but everything looks so good. Plus, great reviews so far!

This island is adventurous, and there is no shortage of activities and tours. This island is perfect for active travelers to explore!
The mud baths were so fun, and the springs were so naturally warm. The tour guides have fun taking photos, and really encourage you to enjoy the experience!
Soufriere Volcano + Mud Baths
This ATV tour was a great way to get out of the resort and see some of the countryside for a few hours. We explored some of the history, had fresh fruit right off the tree, and ended up at an undeveloped beach.

A helicopter tour is the best way to see the topography of the island. We were so impressed, seeing it from above! This was our first time in a helicopter, and it was exciting!

There were so many unique plants and flowers to see. The waterfall and mineral baths were also fun to explore. This is a place where you can easily wander at your own pace. This toura also includes the mud baths.
Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens
This was quite a hike! We'd recommend arranging transportation with your hotel. The Ladera concierge was extremely helpful! You'll have to pay a guide from the village to take you up to the top, but we had a great time with ours and he was our privat...

We were so happy to be at our resort on the north part of the island in Castries in 20-30 minutes, instead of having to drive 2+ hours through those hilly, winding roads!

While this is an island destination, there are some adventurous activities that you'll want to pack for!
If you're planning to do the Piton hike and the Ladera Nature Trail, you'll want hiking sneakers. Gros Piton is rocky, so you need traction and closed toes!
