Happy Valley is known as the home of Penn State University, but there is so much more than that! We love visiting and end up there quite a few times every year. These are all the places we've personally stayed, visited, and recommend nearby.

Ohiopyle, located in the Laurel Highlands region of the Pennsylvania has been regarded as the #1 small town in the Northeast. It's an absolutely fantastic destination for those who love the outdoors and adventure seeking. You can hike trails for days, head down the river on a raft, or explore the rock climbing routes.
