When people say they want to “visit Los Angeles” I realize most don't quite understand what they want to get out of it, and end up disappointed stuck in traffic trying to go from hiking the Hollywood sign in the morning to Malibu for dinner (don't do this!). There is SO much to see and experience, and LA is it's HUGE. If you're not from here, it's easy to get overwhelmed, because “visiting LA” could mean anywhere between Santa Barbara and Manhattan Beach. Some recommend picking one area and staying to enjoy all the pockets of unique neighborhoods, but if you're new to the area, chances are you want to explore.
