My Blankie! Yep. cover photo collage
My Blankie! Yep.
There's not much better than a good warm blanket by the fire in the winter. Whether indoors or out, the smell, feelings, and time all seem to stand still when you have that time to yourself to think. The cold air, hot drink to warm my nose, a fire and a blanket that covers from top to bottom to keep the chill out. That's not so easy outdoors without getting a blanket filthy, but it's worth the time if you have the opportunity to make it. Add some music, s'mores, and something hot to eat from the campfire and the world seems like a much better place. Maybe it's the stars at night that make the time stand still and seem timeless, maybe it's the food and fire, but I say… it's MY Blankie! Yep. You just have to know me. I don't go very many places without a blanket, jacket, or some type of warmth. Even in the summer I'm cold. When I say I love my “blankie”, this old lady has learned that even growing up if I had known that I could just carry around a blanket like Linus without sucking my finger or dragging my blanket I would have done it years ago. Now I'm old and don't really care what people think. I love to be comfortable when I'm eating comfort food with people I'm comfortable with. However, there's a difference between being comfortable and snuggly. When you check out the blankets, tell me what you think. Would you use it outdoors, romantic setting, snuggly by a campfire, or something all together different. Let me know, I'm looking forward to hearing about your blanket ideas. RitaAnn~
