As someone who lives in Washington, DC, I can attest that SPRING goes in FULL SWING here at the Nation's Capitol! From Cherry Blossoms to Tulip Gardens to Concerts, there's so much you can do in DC. A lot of events are FREE as well - how wonderful is that?? 🤩

DC has some of the most Michelin-star restaurants in the country, but let's be honest, we can only spend $100 on a meal every so often. These are my fave BUDGET FRIENDLY, yummy eats in the city for the times you just want a good meal for cheap.

As someone who just moved to DC a year ago, I've been on the avid hunt to find my fave food spots! I grew up in a foodie family so I have a keen interest in the unique flavors of new cuisines. These are the restaurants that have stuck out to me thus far and I'm on the hunt for more! 😍

As a former Barista, I'm veryyyy picky about my coffee. It's so obvious when the espresso roast is old or when the machine burnt the grounds! As someone who loves working from cafes, I'm always on the avid hunt to find spots with strong WiFi, good coffee, medium noise level, and overall comforting ambiance! It's important for a space to feel welcoming so you can focus and grind in your work, but also take a look at the ambiance when you need a little break! DC has numerous spots for this, although some are hidden.

As a Nepali, I've grown up eating amazinggg cuisine filled with lots of flavors, spice, and taste. I know what to look out for in restaurants to make sure they're actually authentic and tasty!
