Nothing beats a great lens. If you think you'll be taking a variety of photos I suggest a 70mm-300mm. With the 70-300 you can zoom a good distance. You'll want to be a bit further from your subject, but the zoom is nice.

As mentioned above the Android vs Apple debate is dependent on what your needs are. iPad Pro line is a great tool for aspiring digital artists. For me I use iPad for artsy stuff & designing POD designs. (Samsung for phones/calls/social media.)
