Gorgeous hotel, rooms were very comfortable. They gave us cookie tokens to Levain bakery since we had kids with us and they provided a rollaway bed for our 5 year old. Great staff and beautiful comfortable rooms.

Step back in time with this old-fashioned ice cream parlor serving sundaes, floats, and soda fountain treats. This was so fun (and so good) the box the ice cream comes in is the best!
The Franklin Fountain
There pizza and pasta was soooo good and we had the best wait staff!
Prunella
The cookies are amazing and HUGE! My favorite is the chocolate chip and walnuts.
Levain Bakery
Sometimes when you travel you don't eat the best. This place is a nice refreshing reset and makes you feel like you can get nourishment without having to have a full meal. Love this place, so many options.
Playa Bowls
This place was great! Just what we wanted and needed when we were on the go. Didn't have time for a sit down meal but these were still fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

This was sadly too far for us to go to but everyone we talked to said this was a must eat at place. THOSE PANCAKES!!!!

The decor and vibe is everything and I don't think there is one bad thing on the menu.

What to Do With Kids
From hands-on museums to sprawling zoo adventures and playful parks along the river, Philadelphia is packed with experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and fun for the whole family.
By far our favorite activity, we probably could have stayed all day. Science, space, and technology exhibits that are perfect for older kids who love exploring and experimenting.
The Franklin Institute
Hands-on, interactive exhibits designed for younger children; a day here can easily fill hours of play and learning.

A classic family favorite, featuring over 1,300 animals and a fun KidZooU area for up-close animal experiences.
Philadelphia Zoo
Seasonal fun with hammocks, games, and food vendors along the waterfront; great for relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing.
Spruce Street Harbor Park
This was so cool (and yes it's only for like one month in August) but if you are there you should get tickets and go. Best to go at night, we had a blast!
Franklin Square
So much history in this one place. Very cool to see, yes the young ones were a little bored but it's like a right of passage you have to do it once.
Liberty Bell
A great place for lots of activity. On the water, fun, lively and great for a summer night.
Penn's Landing
This was too far for us to get to but had we had a car it would have been on our list. It looks AMAZING!
Otherworld Philadelphia
A free non-profit thing to do, it has a lot and the wooden slide was my kids favorite!
