For those who want some inspo on what you should carry to the gym or crag, here you go! Though I sometimes add a few items for strength training a few times a week, this is what never leaves. If you don't have extra compartments, I really like using a small cute pencil bag to house all the smaller items. And remember, pack out what you pack in. Cheers!

Main Compartment
All of the THINGS!! These are essential for the gym or outside, every time.
My go to soft shoe. You can't tell me any different.
Method S | Black Diamond
My go to hard shoe for steep climbing, tiny pebbles, and outside.
INSTINCT VSR | SCARPA
My chalk bucket. There are SO many out there, in various colors. Buckets work best for bouldering and you can store a lot in this one, which is what I love.
Craft Chalk Bucket | Rúngne
Recording is super important to me. Yes, catching a send is great for the socials but what's incredibly important to me is filming my fails and analyzing my movement.
Phone Tripod
Avoid smelly shoes and a smelly bag with this. The gym and your nostrils will thank you later.
Shoe Refresher Spray
I'm a liquid chalk fan…big time. I'm a very sweaty girlie so this is a great base layer and builds confidence for me.
Magjuice | Rúngne
You don't need chalk, but I highly suggest it. This is what I keep in my bag!
Magdust Chalk | Rúngne
Brush and crush. All that is needed to be said.
Boaring Chalk Brush | Rúngne
Great warm up and training tool, always in the bag!
Tension Block
It doesn't have to be this exact set but you'll want a skin file and nail clippers for flappers, prevent flappers, and who knows what else we put ourselves through! haha!
Finger + Skin Care for Climbers
A must have staple. I love the variance of width, the colors (YASSSS), and the container that keeps it chalk proof until I'm ready.
Climbing Tape | Rúngne
Little Pocket Trinkets
I carry around a little pencil pouch with most of these items (besides my snacks). Get a glimpse into what I personally find necessary.
You can always ask the gym for a bandaid but these flex fabrics are a must have since they move with you and you forget they are there. Worth it!
Band aids
Possibly controversial, but yes, I utilize airpods in the gym. Use one ear only or keep the music to a minimum to stay aware of your surroundings.
Airpods
If you've seen my other lists, you may have seen these already. My go to climbing snack for that much needed energy.
Soft & Juicy Mango | Trader Joe's
Some folks have looked at me like I was crazy busting this out but when I'm feeling stuffy (prob from a bad circulating gym full of chalk plumes) or if I'm overstimulated, this helps me focus. Idk, it's an asian thing I guess. Totally normal, totally helpful.
POY-SIAN Mark II Menthol Nasal Inhaler
Too many times I enter the gym forgetting an elastic. I started keeping these in my bag and now i never have to worry. Bonus points if you hook up one of your pals who forgets, as well.
Hair Elastics
I'm not young and spry anymore so we have 3 of these between my husband and I for naggy wrist pain.
WristWidget
Cute Pencil Cases are great for storing all the smaller items you need.
Pencil Case
Odd choice you're thinking? Think again. Whether inside or outside, these can be a godsend for wiping off chalk, dirt, or unmentionables. Things happen…I'm a mom and this works LOL
