One Day in Stone Fort: Problems to get on to maximize your time

Purple Star emoji 28 items
I get it. Sometimes you only have one day to climb and you want to make sure you don't miss the classics, must do, or the hidden gems.  Here are the problems I recommend at every level. I've either A) done them because they're awesome or B) they're a project. I hope this helps your research whether or not you stumbled here the night before or using it as you plan your trip! Enjoy!

A classic, aesthetic climb! Just make sure you've got a good pad set up and enjoy the move over the lip to the namesake, Ribcage section!

Is it ACTUALLY V3? Who knows. I like to avoid the swing with a cheeky toe, but do you!

Mantles can be a bit foreign indoors. Get your practice in and add some syrup while you're at it.

Right next to ribcage, go figure! A little tricky, a sneaky toe, and various beta make this a fun one!

Climb out of the cave pit with a good spotter and don't fall into said hole.

One of my favorite spots/climbs in Stone Fort. Traverse from the left, don't dab the tree, and finish on V2 slab.

Probably the most identifiable problem in Stone Fort and quite possibly already on your list.

A great problem in the front area behind the wave. Great landing zone, to boot!

Great climb and requires a dynamic move if you are a shorty!

Really interesting top out. Beach whale if you have to and make sure that top is DRY DRY!! Always known for being wet, which means you prob shouldn't attempt it then.

The must do moderates at Stone Fort!

The “Cover Problem” on guidebooks. Deceptively easy looking…it's not.

Travel into the tiny cave (very confinded space) across from Ribcage. If people are already in there, wait your turn. Trust me.  Grimace, V8 is directly behind it. Enjoy!

Climb the shot gun shell like holds to the top. Questionable landing zone so have at least one spotter!

Really unique looking problem in an alley that leads to Dragon Lady.  May be tough to start if you're a shorty (as with many climbs)

Outdoor gym problem? Yes. Super dynamic movement, extra nice when there's tons of pads below you! Not so nice, if not. Top out is crux.

For the crushers or establish a project you can go back to after another training season! Why is this list so short? Because I'm not there yet hahahaha apologies!

This is NOT a photo of Simply Irresistible as I haven't seen it repeated a lot. I recommend lots o pads, researching beta but it's a sketchy big move to the top of a caved in area. Guide book or Kaya it. It's very cool and v scary imo.

Seems pretty nutty but really cool at the same time. I've seen a few different betas but your crimp strength better be insane.
