South
South Nashville spots but don't fret. A few have more than one location!
Made with love and to die for. Make sure to check hours before you go, as they aren't open all the time. So worth it. The empanadas are WOW WOW amazing.
Subculture
Follow the smoke!! They are always smoking meats outside so drop by instead of just salivating in traffic. Best tacos in Nashville? Quite possibly!
Linbar Super Mercado
Extremely expensive, in my opinion, but such a delicious, consistent acai bowl spot. They have lots of food and health shots in the front if that's your vibe, too!
E+ROSE Wellness Company
The bahn mi and bao buns are great! The south location has a nice seating area outside that is perfect in the early Fall weather!
Vui's Kitchen
The South location has great boba tea and bahn mi sandwiches! So glad it's close to me. I really miss their sticky ride side dish before they did away with it. Wah! Han, if you're reading this please put it back on the menu.
Han's Deli
East
More so East Nashville, but don't worry, some spots have more than one location!
My favorite sandwich shop, maybe ever? The roasted veggie and the turkey/cran sandwiches are my go to.
Mitchell Delicatessen
Yes, I'm a sucker for food halls. And this is quite a good one, located right in the heart of East Nashville. Walk if you can or pray to the parking gods, if not!
Hunters Station
If you love chicken and/or spicy flavors, this is your spot. I swear I love everything I've ever had. While I can't do spicy anymore, I long for their tik boks often. The pasta salad (when in stock) is amazing and the menu rotates often!
Brave Idiot
My vote for the best tacos in Nashville if you're willing to wait (which is so worth it). Try it with a horchata or one of their wild margaritas that rival anywhere (as long as it's not a work lunch).
Mas Tacos Por Favor
Delicious and quite fast. I have yet to find a more consistent bao fun or beef haw fun, which is strange, considering it's a chain. Don't give up on your parking search, it can get a bit dicey!
Hawkers Asian Street Food
West/Middle
West, Green Hills, or the Downtown area. Don't fight me on geographics. I'm doing my best hehe
I thought it was strange for a restaurant to be based solely on grilled cheese but keeping it simple works. Don't skimp on the milkshakes, either.
The Grilled Cheeserie
Yes, I'm biased. I love Torchy's (lived in Texas for quite a while) and am a bit upset this location is on Broadway. Still worth the trip.
Torchy's Tacos
Yes, yes it's a chain but hear me out. The hot and salad bars are amazing and extremely quick. We have a few locations here so find the one that's best for you!
Whole Foods Market
Another great food hall but I seldom make my way to the overcrowded streets of Broadway. If you're in the area, it's a must check out with a variety of great eats, to boot (yes, another pun!)
Assembly Food Hall
Probably my favorite food hall on the list! Various spots so if you're going in a group, it's sure to tick off something for everyone. Enjoy!
