No spoilers through my notes, which will be sparse because why would I tell you? All you need to know is my attention span is short. If a book doesn’t hook me, it’s over. Trust that each of these titles will have you reading until you’re done. These are listed in no particular order or genre. All of them are unputdownable in their own ways. Almost done with my 52 books!
A great book that twists and turns. You will not put this down until you’re on the last page!
Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney
Over the course of one evening, you think you might know where it heads, and things get a bit crazier.
Ward D by Freida McFadden
Read this on a whim. Saw it in Target and made an impulse purchase. I was happily surprised to enjoy the story and the characters.
Wild Side (Rose Hill, #3) by Elsie Silver
This one had me going “WTF” on many occasions.
Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris
A book that explores ethics, morals, and racism in the book world. So good!
Yellowface
I didn't know what to expect and I was surprised at every corner. Beautiful writing, to boot!
The Wedding People
This was my first Riley Sager novel and it got me HOOKED!! Almost through the whole collection.
The Only One Left
Weird and beautiful. The last paragraph is probably one of the most beautiful pieces I've read. Grab a tissue, you'll be sobbing.
Call Me by Your Name
I tried to slow down reading this one because I didn't want it to end.
Pachinko
I never watched the show but after comparing notes with my husband, it's obvious the book is an entirely different story and 100% better.
Station Eleven
Another Sager classic.
Final Girls
This was so beautifully written. The first half entrances you and makes you feel like you're in the CIty Museum in STL!! (iykyk!!)
Piranesi
A great sort of love story, very well written.
Normal People
A must read. A non-fiction journey that will feel incredibly humbling.
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
If you loved Yellowface, don’t miss this!
Martyr!
A great book. Just get through the first 50 or so pages. It's worth it and it serves a purpose.
