items I spent the weekend researching dry bags for an upcoming hiking trip with multiple river crossings and the possibility of extremely wet weather.  For this trip we need a 70-70L duffle bag and a 25-40L day pack. Best for carrying dry bags and things that can get wet. This bag doesn't claim to be waterproof, but it has a number of features in common with those that do.  The material is great, and the zip is covered so it is protected from the rain.  It's waterproofing is let down by unprotected stitching which will allow water to seep in once the rain sets in.  However, this also means that there is no waterproofing to deteriorate over time🧵🧵🧵.
