Crocheting has been a continued favorite hobby, which is saying something since I have ADHD and hobby jump frequently. This list has items that I have come to rely on, patterns that I've used/bought and loved as well as patterns I am super excited to try one day and are on my purchase lists.

Things we use in our ADHD household to try to mitigate some of the chaos during both the medicated and unmedicated times. Just like medication, these aren't a one size fits all solution. If you have the option I'd encourage seeing the things that bother you in your living space and see if anyone online has potential solutions! ADHD humans on TikTok are great at sharing useful tidbits.

These are products I use, have used, or have been recommended. A lot of the time I have lacked medical answers to the symptoms I am facing so I've had to navigate a lot of this on my own or through seeking out other people with similar experiences. Just remember to be kind to yourself and to your body, even if it feels like it's failing you. It's all we can do sometimes to pick our battles to extend the time we feel “normal”.

I was an avid reader in my public school days, but now I find myself reading for work or school more often than not. Some of these books are helpful or great conversation starters, my hope is to also add books that have brought me joy or an escape in my life. Reading can be life changing, and the dissemination of information through books and media keeps us informed. Read banned books my friends. No source of control wants its subjects to learn things that give them the idea that they should be free of thought and action.
