💕RECIPE⬇️ Healthier Easter Eggs …follow along @littleloucooks for more easy recipes 🐣Easter baking is something special, it’s a great way to spend the time during the holidays!! It is super fun with lots of chocolate and sugar!! Try these for a healthier alternative to all the shop bought stuff. We made these last year worth a share again. 🎈SAVE and Share 3 Ingredient: Easter Eggs 200g raspberries - frozen or fresh 4 tablespoons chia seeds 200g milk chocolate, chopped Step 1: You will need a flat tray that will fit in your freezer, some parchment paper and a pencil. Step 2: If using frozen like me, add them to a small pot and heat through on a low heat for 5-10 minutes. Once completely soft, stir through the chia seeds and let aside for 15 minutes. If using fresh raspberries, mash with a fork, stir in the chia seeds and let aside for 20 minutes. The chia seeds will swell and go to a gel. Step 3: While you wait, draw out 7-8 (about 2 ½ inchs long) egg shapes on the parchment paper, use a stencil if you wish. Spoon the mix onto the paper and make egg shapes as best you can. Place the tray carefully in the freezer for 30 minutes. Step 4: After this time, melt the chocolate in a bowl in the microwave or in a bowl over a simmering pot of hot water. Prepare a second tray with parchment paper. Use a fork and a spoon to cover the frozen eggs in melted chocolate and place on the tray. Repeat. If there is any chocolate left over, drizzle over the top of the eggs to finish. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes to set. Storage: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days.
