Christmas is right around the corner and it’s the time of year to start decorating! If you’re like me and your Christmas decor needed a refresh or you just want some new pieces to add to our current decorations look no further! This year I went with a traditional look featuring burgundy, gold and white with some other accent colors just for texture and to break it up!

I love the outdoors, traveling and hiking and am currently trying to visit every National Park in the US! The New River Gorge National Park is a great place for day trips or weekend getaways filled with breathtaking hikes, various activities and amazing views. I’ve taken day trips here in the spring and summer. Included in this guide are various hiking, food, scenic views and lodging recommendations both in and around the park.
