Fort Worth 🤠
Fort Worth, Texas “where the west begins”. A blend of western heritage with modern day culture. The stockyards, Sundance square, rodeos, BBQ, Tex-Mex, line dancing, honky-tonks and daily cattle drives
We stayed here which was less than 10 mins from downtown and less than 15 mins from the stockyards and often cheaper than the downtown hotels
SpringHill Suites Fort Worth University
If you’re looking for a more high end stay directly within the stockyards that has some of the best food and drinks. If you don’t stay here at least go for their brunch or a drink!
Hotel Drover
Located in downtown Fort Worth and includes a free shuttle to the stockyards
The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel
Such a cute area downtown and has some great food and shopping
Sundance Square
Loved the vibe of this place and was a great place to grab drinks
The Archibald
Such a fun environment, happy hour drinks specials and a speakeasy!
Thompson's Bookstore
I’m still dreaming out their brisket pot stickers. Such a slept on restaurant in the area

Rodeo Exchange
Waco ⭐️
Waco, Texas a place with small city charm that includes Magnolia Market and the Silos and downtown Waco. Other hits include the Dr. Pepper Museum, Cameron Park and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame
Make a reservation!! This place is packed on the weekends and for good reason! Recommend the chicken or burger sliders and the apple cider mule

If you are an hgtv fan or a chip and Joanna Gaines fan the silos is a must stop and spend some time walking around at. Grab a coffee or a baked food and enjoy a few hours here
