I cannot recommend highly enough bringing a cute and comfy blanket with you to the hospital. the blankets they provide are thin and scratchy and you’ll sleep so much better with something familiar. plus it will brighten the space!

this one is a hear me out, but if you’re able to eat foods other than what the hospital provides having a small fridge lets you keep your favorite snacks and drinks on hand, rather than having the nurses store them in the shared fridge.
