The older I get, the more I love fall and the more determined I am to romanticize the entire season. The only problem is I live in Alabama, where “fall” can still mean 85 degrees. So this list is a mix of things I can actually wear on warm Southern nights, plus the sweaters, jackets, boots and layers I’m saving for travel and the rare day Alabama decides to participate. Basically: everything making me excited to get dressed this fall.

We split the trip up between Lake Louise and Banff Springs. It was the perfect way to experience everything but I would have loved more time in Banff Springs.
