Pat Flynn gives us the run down on why limtless growth as a creator is not the only way to be profitable. For me the pursuit of numbers on platforms like instagram and tiktok feels like a never ending treadmill. Distressing and casuing burnout. Which is why I appreciate Pat Flynns approach for pusuing superfans rather than badges that come with numerical increase in followers on these platforms and more. It feels like a more humane way of pursuing the content creator life. by suggesting something so counter intuitive but effective. It relieves the pressure on us who are on this journey. Allowing us to have more fun along the way. It is definitley a good listen, especially if you are afraid of being seen. Your goal doesn't have to be a million subscribers after all to enjoy the same level of financial and personal growth.

I have always wanted to draw, and really admired artists and graphic designers who would. I loved their art but inside I was insanely jealous that I couldn't create the same beauty with my hands. Or so I thought, until one day I stumbled upon Skillshare and in particular one class that took things from 0 to hero overnight for me. In my experience it's not enough to just have the right tools at the right time, the right mindset has be there too, for the magic to even get started.I've listed the books, tools, and apps that helped me learn more about what I could really do (draw). As well as some easter eggs with some finished fabrics amongst I designed as a result of this class amongst one of the recommendations. These recommendations took me from being a non-believier in my capability for creativity. To realising my childhood dream of becoming a Surface Pattern Designer, and creating repeat patterns for fabric for dressmaking. PLUS designing stationery that kept me organised. I'm so glad I get to share this with you!
