Baby Registry Essentials That Are Actually Worth It
As someone who had zero idea what should be on a baby registry when she got pregnant, and who spent hours upon hours researching, comparing brands and prices, and editing her baby registries hundreds of times… I’ve compiled a list of all my favorites from items I’ve actually received/bought and believe are worth getting!
Side note: I registered at Target and Amazon and imported it all into Babylist. That’s what I sent to my loved ones/included on shower invitations. Babylist links to all external sites the product is available at. This allowed them to purchase from any of the sites and I could track it all in one central location. On this list, I am linking to whatever site has the best price available. But I had good experiences with all three sites and would recommend getting them from any of them. And registering at all three was worth it because they sent welcome boxes with tons of freebie samples after a certain amount was purchased from the registry- and this includes your own purchases off your registry! So I just made sure to meet that minimum to get the boxes.
Finally- all three websites send a 15% registry completion discount approx 2 months/8 weeks before your due date! Amazon allowed unlimited uses, up until 3 months after birth. Target was good for 2 uses. And you can still add items to the registry during this time and then purchase with the discount. All you have to do is make sure you are adding to your cart from the list. So keep the lists to come back to- you can continue to use the discounts to stock up on diapers!
