I don’t really love Chicago. I went there last weekend for a concert and spent about 72H there. BUT you have to know you must be ready to wait in line to enter restaurants and shops. Long lines. The streets are dirty, and filled with homelessness and...

This place was really fun! I intented to go to have a nice cheeseburger, and then I got an experience. It’s a 50’s retro diner and waiters and waitresses are characters. Their name is not real, they have costumes and they are proud to be rude to cust...
Ed Debevic's
Margaritaville restaurants are always a good choice! I love to go the Miami one. Here you can take your beer to go and walk with it at the navy pier or you can sit and eat. Food is delicious. Drinks and beer are good. Service was amazing.
Margaritaville Restaurant - Chicago
I love the Cheesecake Factory! I try to go every time I go to the USA. This one is right under 360 Chicago. (My love for the Cheesecake Factory began with my love for The Big Bang Theory many many years ago!)
The Cheesecake Factory
Stay
It looks more chic, new and beautiful in the photos versus in real life, but it was really decent and the bed was comfortable.

It’s pretty expensive, but that view is incredible! Plus there’s fun bar!
360 CHICAGO
This place is fantastic! Staff is thoughful and incredibly nice. And you get to keep your butterbeer cup as a souvenir!
Harry Potter Shop Chicago
I recommend taking the water taxi. You don’t need to pay for the cruise with the commentary, just look around! I took it from around the Soldier Field stadium to the Navy Pier and back. It was cheaper than Uber and the view was nice. Totally worth it...
Shoreline Sightseeing
I went to see a concert there and I’m amazed by the women restroom. There were to women employees in there to make sure everything was clean and toilet paper was available. No line to get it. (Also the sound was really good even from up high in the 4...
Soldier Field
This place is fun because the view is beautiful and there are plenty of places to sit and restaurants/bars along the way.
Welcome to the Chicago Riverwalk
Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to this spot, because the line was way too long. It was a long weekend, so I presume there were more tourists, just like me, than usual. I heard it’s the biggest Starbucks in the world. I’m sad I couldn’t go. It’s ri...
Starbucks Reserve Roastery
I really don’t get the hype or what’s special about this, but it seems to be mandatory to go get your picture with the bean!
Cloud Gate
It’s a 200 feet ferris wheel. I did the one in Miami and I was too scared to do it again in Chicago. But if you’re not afraid of heights, you’ll enjoy the view on the water. There’s also a caroussel, a « star flyer » and « teacups ».
Centennial Wheel
Cheapest way from the airport to downtown. It’s really convinient and fun. You get to see neighboorhoods, art, people’s balconies. Hop off at Washington station or Monroe station.
