As a first time mom, I’ve felt generally underprepared for all the things that my wonderful, amazing, utterly confusing baby has brought along. As an engineer, my default is to read and learn when I don’t know how to handle something. Cue the perfect storm of a crying baby and me downward spiraling into stacks of books a mile high. after the spiral reading you get: a baby who still mysteriously cries, my brain swirling of 15 different options for how to possibly address that, and this list of books I actually liked.

all the makeup i feel like i actually have time for, and the skincare that keeps me generally looking less like gandalf. also all generally clean stuff so that neither you nor i have to spend our time figuring out if any of the ingredients will somehow turn our insides into some undiscovered fungus
