Different plates for different people. You can always add cabbage to your own plate (I didn’t have any). Also, I don’t add tomato paste/salsa to the meat (
I always add it on top when the plating gets done).

Green Banana/Guineo/Banana verde
This is the ground beef I use but you can use the one you regularly get. If you are not a fan of ground beef then you might want to skip my post ❤️.
Ground beef
Get potatoes. These are the ones i use for ground beef (if you have red ones or brown ones it’s fine). You will need 2 but if its more than 3people use about 4.
Yellow Potatoes
The quantity for carrots i used is 2 whole carrots. This is because you will cut them in squares after peeling. It will give you a lot of slices for the recipe. Wash your produce as always.
Whole Carrots
DO NOT AND I MEAN ITTTT. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER SOUR CREAM FOR THIS RECIPE. USE THE SALVADORAN SOUR CREAM (if you are lactose intolerant you can substitute for anything else). This is our secret ingredient for the aderezo.
Salvadoran Sour Cream
Ketchup for the aderezo.
Tomato Ketchup
Don’t worry this is not going directly to the meat🤣. Its for the aderezo to give it a creamy sweet taste.

Deep Frying Pan
Get a cheese grater, this is to shred the cheese listed above. Again, you can just buy the shredded one. This is just for us who like the block cheese and need to shred some of it.
Cheese Grater
Get a veggie cutter, it will save you some time. If you don’t want to waste money, well get a 🔪 and cut the carrots and potatoes by hand. Remember we need them diced for this recipe.
Manual Food Chopper
This is to fry your banana slices. You will add vegetable oil, a good amount to cover the slices. Fry them until golden but not brown or burnt. Take them out and set them aside on a container with napkin to remove the excess of oil.

Get a knife, you are going to grab your banana, make a line down the middle vertically. You will then peel the banana with your fingers and remove the skin/layer, whatever you want to call it. Lastly grab a cutting board, you will cut your slices at ...
Knives
Grab a board that you have in the kitchen. I use a wooden cutting board because they are a decent size and thats where i cut my guineos. You are going to need one to slice the tajadas, remember that they will stain you so be careful. Good luck😄.

Grab a skimmer/colander spoon. You will take out the tajadas from the oil with this. If you cant get one, kitchen tongs work just as fine but it will take longer if they fall🤣.

Adobo All Purpose Seasoning With Pepper
Garlic powder is so essential. You can substitute for minced garlic or fresh garlic. These bottles last me for weeks on end and I season a lot.
