pet (emphasis on dogs) parent picks 🐶
i am an only child and my parents are still married so, when we moved to America from Bangladesh in 2009 (i was 10 years old), i didn't have any family in Georgia. I remember always begging my parents for a cat or a dog. It wasn't until I moved out with my now husband, Aaron, in 2019, is when we got our first pup, Coco. She is a 10-12lbs shih tzu and maltese mix, and she is 5 years old. I have never love and cared for someone like this my entire life. Coco has given me a friendship that i never in a million year would've thought i would experience. Coco is so sassy that even though I feel so deeply for her, she is a daddy's girl through-and-through. Fast forward to 2021, Coco is no longer an only child and we add little miss 60lbs Pesto to our family. Pesto is a beautiful red golden retriever with so much love in her to give. She is 3 years old, and she loves everyone and everyone loves her! She is a total momma's girl even though daddy may disagree haha. anyway, just wanted to give you guys a little backstory before i dive into what this list is… over the last 5-6 years of being a dog mom/pet parent, i have tried so many things for my babies and not all of them were a hit. In fact, many of my findings over the years did not work out, but the ones that did, have not left my side since I have found them. I love my furbabies and your furbabies, which is why i wanted to share all my essentials for a happy & healthy pup.
