I’ve always loved getting lost in a good book, and these are some of the authors and stories I’ve enjoyed most over the years. You’ll find favorite romance novels, historical stories, small-town settings, family relationships, second chances, and memorable characters—the kinds of books I’m happy to recommend to another reader. LaVyrle Spencer is an all-time favorite of mine, along with Debbie Macomber, Fern Michaels, and other authors I’ll be adding as this list grows.

These are products we use around our own garden: raised beds, flowers, and houseplants, along with a few finds I think are worth sharing. I especially love things that save time, make gardening easier, or simply make our outdoor spaces more enjoyable.”

These are some of my favorite finds—the things I've actually used, enjoyed, given as gifts, or found useful enough to recommend to someone else. It's a little bit of everything because, well...so am I! 😂 You'll find favorite snacks, games we enjoy with family and friends, travel helpers, gifts for the kiddos, writing supplies, craft projects, and other things that have earned a place in everyday life. Some are practical, some are fun, and a few are things I probably didn't NEED—but I'm certainly glad I found them! 😂 If it's on this list, there's a reason I wanted to share it.

I cook—a LOT! And over the years I've found some kitchen tools, gadgets, and small appliances that really do make cooking, baking, food prep, and storage easier. These are products I actually own and use—from my Instant Pot and Vitamix to bread-making tools, food storage helpers and a few fun gadgets I probably didn't need but am very glad I bought! You'll find practical everyday kitchen essentials along with some of my favorite time-savers and “why didn't I buy this sooner?” finds. If it made this list, it's here because I've used it and found a reason to keep using it.

Wellness isn't just ONE thing—it's the little things we do every day to take care of ourselves. ❤️ As a nurse, I've always been interested in health and wellness, but I'm also practical about it. For me, wellness includes good nutrition, hydration, movement, rest, healthy habits, and finding products or resources that fit realistically into everyday life. This is where I share wellness products I personally use or find interesting, along with educational resources, healthy living ideas, and other things I've discovered along the way. I'm always learning—and I believe we should ask questions, look at the available information, and make the choices that are right for us. We enjoy finding a good restaurant wherever our travels take us—and some places are worth remembering! 🍽️🚗 These are restaurants we've actually visited and enjoyed, from favorites close to home to places we've discovered while traveling. Some made the list because of a particular dish, some because the entire meal was wonderful, and others because the food, atmosphere, and experience all came together. I'm not looking for fancy just for the sake of fancy. Give me good food, good service, and something that makes me want to come back—or wish the restaurant were closer to home! 😂 If we've eaten there and I'm recommending it, there's a reason it earned a spot on this list.

When you cook—a LOT—as I do, I'm always finding another recipe I want to try! Or old-faithful ones that I like to share with others! 🍳 This is my collection of recipes I've made, enjoyed, grown up with, or discovered and want to keep handy. You'll find everything from homemade breads and favorite breakfasts to family comfort foods, main dishes, vegetables, desserts, appetizers, and whatever else finds its way into my kitchen. Some are old favorites that bring back wonderful memories, some are newer discoveries, and others are recipes that inspire me to start experimenting and make them my own. Good food, good memories, and plenty of “Hmmm...I wonder what would happen if I added THIS?” That's how I cook!

Ohio has SO much more to see and do than people sometimes realize! ❤️ I've lived in Ohio most of my life, and there are places around this state that I think are absolutely worth discovering—from small towns and historic sites to beautiful parks, museums, unusual attractions, scenic drives, and those little hidden gems you might drive right past if nobody told you they were there. I'm still finding places to explore. Some of these are places I've visited many times, some hold special memories for me, and others are places I've discovered while wandering around our beautiful state. You'll find plenty of my Southwest Ohio favorites here because that's home—but I'm expanding beyond my own backyard to include great places worth visiting throughout OHIO. Whether you're looking for a day trip, a weekend adventure or simply someplace different to explore... 🎵 BEAUTIFUL OHIO There's a reason our state song is called “Beautiful Ohio!” ❤️ If you've visited—or even looked through—some of the places I've included here, I think you'll understand why that title fits.
