I am on the hunt for Christmas presents for my large extended family this year that are eco-friendly, useful, and budget friendly as well! Most of these are under $100, use recycled or recyclable materials, and are things adults and kids will actually use. We're all watching our wallets, so I am looking more for practicality than just decorative things….although a little bit of luxury might sneak in! I've also added some things I really like for plastic free decorating, handmade gift ideas that aren't terrible (no cake in a cup, thank you!) and two sections for Christmas entertaining for small and large families. I really love Christmas, and hope you enjoy this collection! I'll be adding to it weekly, right up to the big day!

I have enjoyed a much calmer and more stable life after making quite a few adaptations, and accepting that being autistic doesn't mean I can't leave my room and have to stay isolated! I have been so happy to be able to slowly build up my capacity, as I accepted who I was, and stopped trying to change it. Making a few changes to my lifestyle and using disability aids has meant I have fewer bad meltdowns and shutdowns, and am not constantly trying to force myself to do things that are painful or damaging. I've done a lot of research, and tried all these products myself. If they are on the list, that means I'm still using them!

I've always loved buying jewelery, both for myself and for my loved ones. Here are some of my favourites! I'm a fan of unique and historically inspired pieces, and quality over quantity, so you won't find much costume jewelery here.
