DINNER
I always bring visitors here and they consistently say it’s their new favorite restaurant! Delicious shareable plates, great atmosphere, and I saw Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen here.
RVR | Venice
This is my favorite restaurant. I go here weekly and it never disappoints!! Consistent, high-quality sushi at a reasonable price.
SUGARFISH by sushi nozawa
Small menu but everything is top tier. I always gets the pressed sushi roll, fried chicken sandwich, and a dirty martini with blue cheese olives. No reservations so get there early or be prepared to wait!
Honor Bar | Beverly Hills
Some of the best pasta I’ve ever had! I prefer to eat at Bar Funke on the rooftop—such an amazing atmosphere.
Funke | Beverly Hills
I considered not including Gjelina because the hosts / reservation management are horrible, but the food makes up for it and I keep going back. The menu is seasonal so I usually just ask the servers what they recommend—and they never miss.
Gjelina | Venice
You must reserve a table in the sunset room—the views and vibes are spectacular! The whipped eggplant appetizer is good, but overall, the food is nothing to write home about.
Élephante | Santa Monica
Everything at this restaurant is good. Each dish is so flavorful and unique. Go!
Cobi's | Santa Monica
COFFEE / MATCHA
High quality matcha! Perfect patio.
Malou Coffee | Brentwood
The matcha with cold foam is everything!
La La Land Kind Cafe | Santa Monica
Elite coffee. Everything on the menu is good.
Caffe Luxxe | Santa Monica
HAPPY HOUR
Happy hour: 5-6 p.m., daily
Laurel Hardware | West Hollywood
Go for happy hour and order the vodka pizza. Trust me.
Ospi | Brentwood
BREAKFAST
Love these sourdough bagels!!
Layla Bagels | Santa Monica
Get the breakfast burrito and matcha! I love sitting at the outside tables with my dog and people watching.
