every hand me down given to me by my cousin was very hollister coded. back then, if you didn’t have the bird on your clothes, then it wasn’t that cool. these trash bags had everything from henley tops, to low rise jeans, to sequins, to babydoll tops. i even remember sweatpants with fake paint stains all over them. while wearing these clothes, i remember my cool cousin making prank phone calls with *67 and updating her myspace page. these clothes embody this aesthetic. enjoy!

it’s 2008, you need a new profile picture for myspace, and you just got out of school for the day. you and your friends get off the bus at your house and you start going through your closet to find what to wear. you put on your hollister off the shoulder top, with low rise micro denim shorts, and get out your digital camera. bonus points if you have bangs! and you force your friend(s) to take pictures of you with the digital camera. when you’re alone, you take the photos with flash in your mirror
