Large pots and pans. It is typical for Mennonite families to be large and need a lot of food on a daily basis. They also host and fellowship over food a lot. So being able to cook large portions of food is essential.

A wood stove for heating in the winter. This is super common in Mennonite hones, as it really helps keep costs lower for large families. Wood is also relatively easy to come by as many have large pieces of land with woods on them.

NO TVs. You will not find a TV or large screen in most Mennonite homes. Many do not even have internet or their internet is heavily monitored or restricted.
