The absolute basics that you need for making water kefir
You can't make water kefir without the grains! These are super healthy and robust and I have easily kept them alive for over a year now.

You need a high quality, unprocessed sugar for your kefir. This one is affordable and works well.

You need some kind of jars to ferment in and I find Mason Jars just fit the bill every time.

Adding a little baking soda into each batch, gives your grains some minerals to keep them healthy. I also found it helps to make my end result more fizzy.
