Raw milk is an absolute staple in my diet- especially when I'm trying to get out of a flare! I know not everyone can handle it but it's the thing that is the most soothing thing for my stomach. If you have local Amish in your area, ask them if anyone... is someone and they often have the best prices.

Phase 2

These are the foods I go to first, when adding foods back into my diet. And sometimes I will through them into Stage 1 if I'm desperately needing some variety. However, I try to wait to add these in til I know things are starting to calm down.

I will on occasion eat ground beef in phase 1. However, I find that chicken is more soothing often times when things are really aggravated. But beef is one of the first things to add back in, especially because it can help keep anemia away.

Oatmeal is one of the gentleless fibers to add back in. I like it in granola or baked oatmeal. Make sure to go easy on this one at first, as some may find it too full of fiber.
