Super Fun Activities for Kids
I think that child development is a super important thing to focus on. Here are some easy activities that you can do with your child, or with your class to promote different motor skills or just to have fun.
Animals
Put stickers on the floor and have them follow each one
Super cute idea. Use paper and fold into links that connect together. Put the head on the finish product and let them color it
Have different categories on different trays for the animals depending on age. Location, color, size etc. Have them sort the animals into the correct category
Roll the dice and follow the movement of the animal it lands on
Hand paint little piggies
Art
Glue salt to paper then color it with paint with water color or food coloring. Super fun activity
Play any song and have them draw how the song makes them feel
Trace over the dotted lines with each corresponding color of the rainbow
Pin cotton balls to clothes pin and put them in various paints. Use the cotton balls as a paintbrush and make a masterpiece
Take pieces of tissue paper and use water to stick them onto the paper
Other Crafts
Gather any art supplies you have, two toilet paper rolls, and some string. Let your kid go wild
A cool sensory idea for kids. All you need are ziploc bags and paint. Put any type of design on the outside or leave it blank.
Rip up pieces of tissue paper and place them in different parts of the flower
Make a paper plate baker
Trace your hand and use qtips to represent your bones
Stack up cups with fires on them. Shoot them down with water to put out the fire. Kids LOVE this activity
