There are a lot of things I dislike about winter: it gets dark too soon, less outdoor time … and dry, cracked skin. These are my go-tos to soothe and nourish my skin.

In our house, we almost exclusively shop at Trader Joe’s. I’m sharing products (mostly food) that I truly am obsessed with. *Please note that TJ’s doesn’t always keep their website updated with the full inventory, so some links will just go to the homepage. Our dog, Penny, has severe separation anxiety. She’s the sweetest, chillest, calmest girl in public spaces. But the minute she is separated from us, she gets very panicked. Though that’s gotten better over the nearly 2 years we’ve had her, running dog-friendly errands is super beneficial for us. I made a list of dog-friendly stores in the Des Moines area we’ve either I’ve either taken Penny to myself or called to confirm their pet policy—so you don’t have to 🐕💕
