I turned an empty wall above the toilet in my guest bathroom into functional storage using dark oak floating shelves, then styled them with pieces I already love. This list includes the shelves, bathroom decor and tools I actually used for the installation, plus a few close alternatives where the original item isn’t available. I’ve included notes on what worked, what I’d use again and where I think it’s worth spending a little more.

I’ve called the Upstate home for most of my life, and I’m always up for finding another reason to love it.
