JOHNS ISLAND: THE best bagel you will find in possibly all of South Carolina, made fresh every morning. About 20 mins from downtown charleston, but 100% worth the drive.
KISS Cafe
JAMES ISLAND: Otw to folly beach, you need to stop and try their brisket and cheeseburgers. Everything here is amazing.
Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint
DOWNTOWN: this sandwich shop is the best by far in Charleston. The Italian food spots downtown are nothing special. But this one??? 10/10 sandwiches everytime.
Porchetta Shop
DOWNTOWN: this little cafe is the perfect place for a meeting, work or studying!! Usually quiet, beautiful pastries, coffee and tea
La Pâtisserie
Multiple locations in Daniel island, mt P, peninsula and James island. This poke/ação house is so good! The poke is always fresh and delicious. Their spicy chicken is the best always served hot! My go to for a bowl!

JOHNS ISLAND: this is a solid spot to visit! Not the absolute best but a solid burger joint nonetheless.
Cabana Burgers
DOWNTOWN: this mom and pop bakery was voted best in the area! I would stop by every week to pick up a cinnamon twist!! A great place to relax in the afternoon over a drink and pastry or meal.
Saffron Cafe & Bakery
MT PLEASANT: amazing burger spot!!! Fast food style but fresh and delicious, they focus on clean ingredients and low prices.
Come Back Shack
MT PLEASANT: I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and everything I’ve tried there has been great! Good service, reasonable prices, good quality! 7.5/10

DOWNTOWN: I love the vibes of this spot!! Old style restaurant, cozy vibe, really good food! A bit loud but worth it for the atmosphere and delicious food!

MT PLEASANT: this restaurant has great vibes!! It’s in Shem creek so right on the water. Beautiful during sunset. Great energy and good food!

WEST ASHLEY: they just moved to a new location and I haven’t been to it yet, but their old spot was a no frills burger joint excellent quality and price!! Would definitely recommend.

W. ASHLEY: just before you get on James island, this little cafe is tucked away behind earth fare. Their breakfast is sooooo good tho!! Cute little spot very laid back vibes. Cozy family spot.

They have two locations, in city market and at folly beach. They only serve one thing - pineapple soft serve - but it’s so delicious!! Perfect especially in the summer!
