As a teacher (and the go-to friend for 'what do I get my kid's teacher?'), my honest answer is always a handwritten note + small gift card (Target, Amazon, nails, a restaurant — teachers already have so much stuff!) But if you want a physical gift, here are my favorites. Pair any item with a quick note — try 'This year is going to be INKcredible!' or 'Here's to a BRIGHT year!' Knowing families are thinking of us goes a long way. 🍎

These hands-on materials for early learners provide an opportunity for students to manipulate materials and explore ideas through direct, real-world experiences. For young students, hands-on education leads to deeper understanding and retention. On this list are items I have in my classroom and have seen the benefits firsthand.

These items were my post-op essentials after my breast reduction, childbirth and hysterectomy.

This list is filled with items I use each night to boost melatonin and calm my nervous system. These things help me get the sleep I need, so I can be a decent mom and teacher and not a cranky zombie.

I've spent a small fortune undoing 40+ years of damage. This is what actually worked, and I repeatedly buy with zero regrets.
