I love coming across something new and fun for the dog. She is for sure spoiled and I love it that way. She gets so excited to go anywhere in the car and loves comfort and attention at home. And of course she is all about the food.

Christmas movies bring in so much fun over the month of December. It’s a way for the family to come together and feel all the emotions of the Christmas season. Some are classics that I love to watch every year. And some come and go and I need to be in the mood to watch it again. But they all circle back around eventually.

I love Christmas music and this playlist will not disappoint. It has a great mix of classics as well as some new ones, some country, and some fun bouncy party songs. I have got it going in my car as I drive, in my house as I putter around, and at pickleball as we play!

Hawaii is a beautiful and magical place. Maui is our favorite island and we have been there many times as a couple, on work trips, and with our children. We have found some favorite places to eat and things to do on the island.

My husband is picky and thrifty. Not many things are worth the money or the time to pick out. Here are a few gifts he has loved and used over the last year. He loves to fish and keep all his gear organized and ready to use.

We got the chance to build a custom house and with the help of a designer we chose all our finishes. These are the ones I love how they turned out and would use again.

I want my house to look festive but elegant. If I’m going to put it in my house at Christmas time I want it to look classy. Too many bright colors and busy patterns soon start to feel cluttered and chaotic. I like neutral colors with some pops of Christmas scattered in.

Having the right gear took my game to a new level. And I think I always play better when I look cute!

Tradition takes over when planning the menu for the Christmas break. We deviate a little bit but mostly stick to the same dishes that feel like Christmas. It makes planning so easy when I already know the menu and I just make my list and stick to it.

I am a sucker for infomercials and reels that introduce new gadgets. I love to try new things and have found some winners.

Traditions are memories. Without them we fly through the weeks and months and nothing is special. I like making moments that the family will remember and enjoy the holidays together. There are things that my parents did for me when I was growing up that I have continued on with my kids and we have started some new ones as well. Now that my kids are grown I am able to start new things with the grandkids and watch their excitement build as the holidays come. Family is the most important thing to me.

All the posh baby stuff!! 🤩 I thought it would be a good idea to keep all our baby gear to use with the grand babies. However, it seems that so many cool things have come to market lately and I’m glad we didn’t end up keeping much. I would have wanted to upgrade it all!

I love having an organized home. It makes me feel relaxed and at peace. Clutter makes me on edge. I’m happy when everything in my house has a home.

Games bring the whole family together. Most of these games we pull out over and over again. Over the years it has been fun to get one or two new games for christmas and play them all week to have something new to try. And of course we pull all the old ones out too that have become favorites.

It was time to get rid of the plastic dollar store decor and get some pops of Halloween that don’t distract but actually blend in with my furniture.

I have tried many styles searching for shoes that help my achy feet and have enough arch support. They have to be comfortable for me to keep them in the rotation.

I love cooking for the holidays and have endured the “what’s for dinner” life as a mom and wife for 30 years. These are my everyday items that get me through meal after meal.

These are my go to items for gifts. I have them all at my home to use with my 3 grandbabies. Affordable and functional are key in finding every day baby items that will be used over and over.

I have spent years adding photos to the computer and never looking at them again. Now I am organizing, backing up albums, and scanning in old slides and baby photos and storing them in albums.

I like a natural look. Quick and easy is a must or I won’t do it.
