You really don't need much to get started foraging fungi. I started about 13 years ago and love it. These are all optional items for fun that can help you up your foraging game. The only things that are crucial are a water bottle and, if you. get lost, a tracking app. Just don't eat anything unless you are POSITIVE you know EXACTLY what it is! Have some fun out there.
