Markers
We love to make block prints for stationary and clothing. The pink blocks are soft like erasors and the others kinds are harded for more detailed work. You can buy fabric or paper ink for this. It's a fun project to do together or on your own.
Block Printing Kits
These inks work well for printing you designs on shirts or bags or pillowcases or whateveryou'd like. They have good primary colors and some others though we like to custom mix.
Fabric Screen Printing Inks
Strathmore makes nice watercolor paper for different levels. You can find deal on some accessible papers to play with and then if you want to go up in quality you can do that. Strathmore makes a full range. Play around a bit!

I love the blank journals for everyday lists and some sketching. They're not artist quality paper but they're nice enough for little doodles and fun sketched ideas. I use them for lists and thoughts throughout the day as well.
