Rated NJ.com’s best coffee and I can see why. Outstanding cold brew, organic coffee and tea, sustainably sourced. Fun aesthetic, lots of plants and the staff was friendly. On a Main Street with shops, about 10 minutes outside of Somerset.
Ambee Coffee Co.
Perfect park to walk, run or take your kids. There’s various gardens, picnic areas, they do paddle board rentals and more. Plenty of shaded areas and marked well.
Colonial Park
Short 15 min drive outside of Somerset. I got an Iced Americano with a splash of almond milk and it was fantastic. Plenty of seating to hang out or do work. They sell fun coffee stickers and other local goods!

Solid burger spot! I made my own burger and got sweet potato fries. Great wings, crispy. Loved the Jamaican jerk sauce on the side. Fast service.

Cute coffee trailer right by the water. Family owned and operated. Get there early, as the lines can get super long especially on the weekends or go on their website and order ahead online. I always get an iced americano. Dog friendly, of course. :)

There isn’t much in Altoona, but this local family owned coffee shop is a great option if you’re staying near downtown. You can order inside or there’s a drive-thru.
Greenbean Coffee House
Both a coffee shop and paint your own pottery studio. They offer in house pottery painting by reservation only and also offer "take and paint" options so you can make art in the comfort of your home. Solid coffee and they sell local goods!
