RVA Eats
One of the best Greek restaurants in Richmond. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend starting with the tria or hummus, roasted potatoes, kotopoulo or no. 5 pasta.
Stella's
Tapas, sandwiches and more! Great cocktails, happy hour, brunch on the weekends and both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend the Pinky’s Classic Meatballs, Lemon and pistachio salad with grilled chicken and Bone-in ribeye. For cocktails, try...
Pinky's
Outstanding sourdough crust and a variety of toppings. One of my favorite pizza spots in RVA!
Pizza Bones RVA / FriendBar
Sourdough bagels to die for; my go-to is egg, turkey, fig jam on a rosemary sea salt bagel. The coffee is typical for a bagel shop, but if you’re in a pinch, grab a cold brew with your breakfast sandwich.
Chewy's Bagels
Three locations serving up burgers, sandwiches and more. Butcher shop, sustainably sourced sea food and other prepared food like soups, salads, quiches, pies and desserts. Love that you can order online and pick it up! Great gift card idea as well.
Yellow Umbrella
RVA Coffee
The best coffee shop in Church Hill. I always get their coconut cold brew, but have heard outstanding things about their tiramisu cold brew and honey bee lattes.
Riverbend Roastery
Huge drink menu with coffees, teas and wines. They also serve pastries and homemade sodas. They’re precise with their measuring, so the Iced Americano was on point. One of my favorites in Carytown!
Fuel Pump
Off the beaten path coffee shop! The owners were so kind and gave me an extra espresso shot in my iced Americano just because.
Reviresco Coffee Company
This place is always busy, I’d recommend claiming a spot early if you’re looking to sit down. Otherwise, get it to go from the window and wait on the benches outside. I love their cold brew and they make their pastries every morning.
Sugar & Twine
Coffee roaster on Cary Street serving coffee, fresh roasted coffee beans, a variety of loose leaf tea & pastries, plus a curated section of mugs, tea accessories, and other gifts for the coffee or tea lover in your life. I like their cold brew an...
Rostov's Coffee & Tea
RVA Small and/or Local Businesses
Beautiful 100-acre park in Richmond featuring an arboretum, Italian and Japanese gardens, carriage collection, wildlife exhibits, a nature center, a petting zoo and the Maymont Mansion historic house museum. Perfect for walking, running, picnics and ...
Maymont
This store reminds me of a mixture of Whole Foods and Sprouts, with a local twist on it. Bulk items, local meat and produce, local bread, household items and more.
Good Foods Grocery
Get the San Francisco sourdough, enough said. You won’t be disappointed.
Europa Crust
This place is an absolute gem of a boutique with reasonable prices. The owner is so kind and willing to help. Huge selection of staple pieces and unique items. I recently bought a pair of denim shorts from here that I’ve worn countless times througho...
Fab'rik
Kay is an absolute miracle worker for brows! Her studio is clean and aesthetic. She’s always booked, so get on her schedule in advance. I do a custom tint and wax every 4 weeks, highly recommend!
The Skin and Beauty Haus
I stop in here weekly to build my own bouquet! They carry a variety of seasonal flowers and greenery.
Vogue Flowers
I had a great experience getting fitted for running shoes here. I ended up buying a pair from the store because the experience was so positive. They have a wide selection and the staff was very helpful in taking their time to find the right shoe for ...
Lucky Road Run Shop
Year-round, one of the biggest in the state, Sunday farmers market 10 am-1 pm at Forest Hill Park. Variety of produce, bread, coffee, and other artisanal goods.
South of the James Market
Calling all blondes, go see Britney to get your hair done. Love the minimalist and clean look of her salon that she fully opened and designed. All the girls that work there are wonderful and accommodating.
Cove Collective Co.
A great spot to run or walk your dog in Richmond! If you go down Riverside Drive, it’s completely flat and mostly shaded.
