I have tried so many and these made the cut. Tip: don't apply foundation directly to your face. To get a more flawless application, apply a small amount of foundation to the back of your hand, dab the brush to get an even coat on the brush, then go in on the face. Don't apply foundation directly from the bottle on your face, it can make you look cakey.

It matters what tools you use, I think it's important to invest in quality makeup brushes, if taken care of properly they will last. Don't forget to wash them often to avoid bacteria that will clog your pores and cause breakouts.
