As a reader by hobby and a librarian by trade, I do feel particularly well placed to recommend books, if I do say so myself. But really if I can put even one book I loved into the hands of another, I will always be happy.

We've been refining our camping gear situation for years and these are the things we never leave home without. We've managed to fit a weeks worth of supplies and gear into a four door sedan, so even though we do car camping and not the full on backpacking camping (yet), we are really focused on hardworking equipment that packs small & light. And just know that we didn't start with all of this right out the gate, so you don't have to either! Our camping supplies have been built up over many trips, and many birthdays & Christmases!
