This is probably our number one restaurant in town. Highly recommend to call ahead for reservations, it's a very small restaurant. Don't forget to pick up a bottle of wine first - it's BYOB. The best German food you can get this side of the Atlantic.

One of our favorite lunch spots! The fries are made in, you guessed it, duck fat, and they are to die for. Highly recommend the flight of dipping condiments, they are all so so good.
Great place if you're looking to go dancing, drinks aren't overpriced and there's a nice outdoor space so you can get some fresh air if the dance floor gets a little too crowded for you. Always a fun party vibe!

We always start here, and usually get our last drink of the night here too. The bartenders are always down to make me a fun off the cuff drink, and the outdoor space is a nice reprieve from the crowds. And honestly some of the cleanest bar bathrooms ...

The Escape Room - Portland, Maine
Such a fun spot! The expanded outdoor patio is so cool, and the beer on tap selection is excellent! Highly recommend getting the Battle Box, who doesn't wanna throw ninja stars?
The Axe Pit
Even if you don't think you can paint, you should check this out! Their instructors are so kind and helpful, and the end result is a fun memory to hang on your wall. We love doing the couples paintings so we can display them together on the wall!
