Purple Star emoji 19 items
The Lipizzan is a historic European horse breed famous for its white adult coats and high classical dressage performances at Vienna's Spanish Riding School. Developed by the Habsburg monarchy starting in 1580, these compact, muscular horses are born ... First of all, they are muscular, and what that allows them to do is jump with all four legs. No other horse in the world can do that.  While in Sevilla, Spain, we took a day trip to see the Lipizzan. To see them in person is absolutely amazing. They bring the horses into the arena. Where to Stay

Rosalinda Fucci - The Spanish Girl profile picture
This hotel houses the King and Queen of Spain while they are in Sevilla. From the outside, it looks like a palace. Inside, it is historically preserved.  We checked in, and on the way to our room, we saw beautiful antique rugs and artwork. The stairs still have the original wood from centuries ago.  AND you get to touch it! LOL. Every room on the second floor gets a butler.  Butler? Yes, you heard me. A Butler.  Also, if the king and queen happen to be there when you are, you will be treated to the most amazing food - fit for a king!  Seriously, the buffet breakfast (included with your stay) consists of caviar, soufflé, quiche, omelets, exquisite coffee and tea imported from all parts of the world, etc.

Where to See Them

The "Andalusian horse empire" refers to the cultural and political dominance of the Andalusian horse, or Pure Spanish Horse (P.R.E.), which began as an organized breed in the 15th and 16th centuries.
