These are some apps that I use regularly and I keep in a folder on my phone that is strictly for apps I can use that are not connected to the type of social media apps that I get sucked into and lose time (and motivation).

I thrift about 80% of my clothes and have found some incredible deals. I do buy new sometimes too. At 5'2", I often look for petite sizes. I think a lot of what I have won't be available in stores, since it's secondhand, but I'll try to find close matches if it's something I really love.

This is stuff I regularly consume and would recommend. I've been on a “self-care” journey since I became an empty nester and one of the changes I've made is my elationship with food. I saw a nutritionist for several months last year and found it incredibly helpful. I live in a pretty rural area, so I my only grocery store options are Walmart and Safeway, so most of my links are going to be one of those. Many of these items can be purchased from other places as well, of course.

I read a lot of books, 70-100 per year. I mostly listen to the audio versions, so I can do other things at the same time. I'm not an intense critic, I'm just reading for a good time. My suspension of disbelief (and willingness to overlook plot holes) makes my recommendations somewhat unreliable. But, if I had a good time, I'll talk about it. I read fiction and like fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, and some light horror. I read YA and adult. I generally check my books out from my local library, through the Libby app.
