I drive about 200 days a year selling apparel across the Southeast, which means I get through a lot of audiobooks between appointments. These are the faith books in my library - the ones I keep coming back to, not a reading list somebody handed me. I'm a Christian and a father, not a pastor or a scholar, so this is a working man's shelf: books that hold up at seventy miles an hour and still mean something when you get home. The first one is the best book I've ever read.

Two hundred days a year on the road taught me the gear matters a lot less than not skipping, but the right gear is what makes not skipping possible - because the excuse is always the room, the time, or the hotel gym with two dumbbells and a broken treadmill. Everything here is what I actually own and use. Nothing on this list is a wish list.
