As a Floridian and frequent visitor to the St. Augustine and surrounding areas, here are my top choices in St. Augustine and it's surrounding areas that I consider a must see/visit/stay when in the area!
On our family vacation to St. Augustine we stayed in this adorable two-story VRBO right off of Crescent Beach. It has a beautiful view overlooking the pool and beach. Once you go downstairs you can walk right down to the beach.
My boys ages 5 and 3 enjoyed this trip so much and they have a great gift shop to collect some souvenirs.
A must see when visiting the St. Augustine area. I took my 5 and 3 year old and they enjoyed it, although I would recommend a carrier for younger children and a backpack leash while at the top.
You cannot visit St. Augustine without getting a Trolly Tour. Kids and adults will love it!
A staple visit for any trip to the St. Augustine area. There is a height requirement for climbing the lighthouse so plan accordingly!
Visiting the wax museum is a core memory of visiting the area with my family growing up. I will always recommend a visit here.
O.C. White's restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat when every I visit St. Augustine. Their food is always delicious.
Hand's down the best food!!! When my family visited the area in October we ate here multiple times because it was SO good!
DJ's Clam Shack is great when you are craving seafood.
The Commander's Shellfish Camp restaurant was SO good. My kids LOVED it there when we went and the staff was great with kids. They have the BEST Key Lime Alcoholic drink I have ever had.

The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum is a great family friendly place to visit when going on a vacation to the St. Augustine area. They even host pirate parties for the kids - a great birthday party idea for locals or anyone in the area looking to have a little get together.
