Training for a 5k… here's what I'm using and why. I am a beginner runner who has run 5K's and a 10K, previously. (TO NOTE: mid size mama of TWO)

I officially started my homeschooling journey this past year with my oldest. I am SO passionate about being a homeschooling mama that I want to share some of the things that work really well for us. Both of my boys, ages 6 & 4, have sensory needs so our schooling looks a little different than the norm… and that is okay because we are a homeschooling family! In this list I will have some items, resources, etc. that have worked best for us. This list will show things that are age appropriate for my boys in their Kindergarten and Pre-School year.

I recently tried running away from my problems… literally… and it was exhilarating. I always said if you catch me running you better run too because there has to be a zombie chasing me… Turns out I was wrong about the zombie but right about you running too. LOL! It's such a great stress reliever. In this list I will be adding some things I've gotten or plan to purchase VERY soon for my running journey. These things can also be used for long distance walking. Be sure to check back often as I will continue to grow and update notes as I train more and run farther/longer.
